Olbrich was an architect and co-founder of the Vienna Secession, later a member of the Darmstadt Artists Colony. His "Ideas" represented in this book include designs for decorative arts, furniture, interior design. He may have designed this book as he did venture into book design. This is a reprint of the 1904 Leipzig edition; Olbrich died in 1908 at 40 years. This copy as new; in a paperboard slipcase.
